Check out http://www.m13productions.com/MidiMalletUno.html for specifics.
These aren't what you'd expect a solo mallet gig to be.
I'm running backing tracks recorded in "Reason" and Digital performer as well as triggering MIDI and audio
loops/tracks via Ableton 'Live'
Abeleton's "Live" has totally changed the way I can play a solo gig.
Tunes are no longer stuck in a predefined form dictated by the backing sequence. Each section of the
tune, each track, each measure can be called up at will. It's a fantastic piece of software.
I'll be performing some new pieces that were created with some sample packs provided by various sources
such as Spectrasonics and Peter Gabriel's Real World Remixed site.
An example can be heard here: http://www.m13productions.com/Spectrasonics.html
If you are in the area come down. I think you'll be intrigued by what you hear and see.

Hey Mark,
You should make a video tape of it so that we can post it on our website. We need new videos!

That was really cool.

Performance was OK but it gives you an idea of the how Ableton is being used.
I would however understand not posting it to the AM site since I'm controlling "Live" with an SPD 20.
No where near as powerful as a drum kat but, as you can see gets the job down (not w/o that annoying
'THWACK' though when I hit a pad).
