Title: MalletKat Pro with Sounds

Can someone please explain to me how the names of the patches line up with the displayed information on the MalletKat? The info in the user manual does;t seem to line up with what is displayed on the malletKat. Is there an updated patch list I don't have? Can you explain it to me simply? For example, I see the name Vibraphone and hear timpani, or piano. Is there something I'm missing?

There's been various versions of the KS setup/chains firmware over the years.  There was one for 7.01 on 8/2012 that applies to my setup.  The old one was on page 32-33 of  the Quick Start Guide, the new one was on page 34.  I scratched out pages 32/33 in my manual!  :)
