Title: Alternate banks?

Hi, hopefully a simple q.   I have a malletkat exp w the kurzw soundboard.

The manual mentions the various banks 0 thru 7, and the 1000 various sounds.  How do I get to those?  The bank change function just scrolls between User, Factory, and Chain.

Is the only option to modify the 128 User kits one by one?

So...If I want to mix sounds from different banks, can I do that in the Chains?

You can alter a userkit to get the sound of your choice.
You can use a chain for quickly switching between those userkits in any order you like (lineair or in a loop)

If you want to have two sounds simultaniously, you can assign different sounds to Controller1 and Controller2 of the same userkit and put them in layer mode.

Is there a way to switch to a different LSB for all 127 kits at once and then scroll through all of the sounds just using the backwards/forwards pads?   Seems like that would be an easy way to audition all of the Kurz sounds efficiently.

I'm not aware of such a function.

But flipping through the sounds in 1 userkit should not be that hard, I think.

I don't have the instrument set-up right now, but I think if you can go pretty quick through the setups.
Set the MSB, then set the LSB to 01.
Play the sounds to see you like it.
Step on the edit-switch, hit E-natural twice (should brinkg you back to the last kit edit screen, which is LSB), hit increment, release edit-switch
Play next sound

When you're a mallet-player (I'm not), hitting some keys shouldn't take long :-)

By default the key G is set to Alternate Group Fleet, but what is Alternate Group Fleet?  I press it and nothing seems to happen.
