Title: distortion in my speaker playing low notes

Hello All,

I have been having issues with a distortion in my speakers when playing low notes on my MalletKat. I have a one-octave extension added but even with it disconnected I have the same issues.  I have attached other keyboards and the like with no problem.  Thank you in advance for any help or advice,

Had something like that once. A factory reset did help.

But I would rule out other things first. Is the distortion also there on a different Amp, or on headphones?
Isn't the gain on your amp set too high? Did you use the same cables in your comparison? Did you use balanced or unbalanced cables/input?
