My new band is playing their first gig ever (and my first "real" gig in .... maybe 21, 22 years lol) next Thursday 1/26 at Marlin's Cafe, Pt. Pleasant, NJ. I am using a TrapKat and an Alesis DM Pro, using mostly acoustic drum sounds, with an occasional electronic hand clap and a couple of bells thrown in here and there. We are a pretty straight cover band, doing stuff from the Beatles and Bob Dylan to Coldplay and Three Doors Down.
