We are pleased to announce that Poetic LieSense will soon be playing its first big gig in Manhattan.
Come see us this Thursday, March 2 at 7pm, at Coda, located in the heart of midtown at 34 East 34th Street between Madison and 5th Ave (
http://coda34.com/). There is a $10 cover, but no drink minimum, and there are two other acts on afterwards. Make sure to mention at the door that you are there to see Poetic LieSense.
In case you don't know who we are, you certainly know one of us. The band is:
Chisa Hidaka - Vocals, Robert Steckman - Guitar, Justin Wood - Sax/Flute, Grant Smith - Bass and Blake Lindberg - DrumKat and samples.
Poetic LieSense merges modern digital equipment with traditional music forms. We create our songs during improvisation sessions, then transform the jams into our own songs, in a style we call "Electro Rock". Samples be found at:
