Thanks for that Michael
Do you know if he will be there on both days?
Will only be able to make it on Sunday and even then it will be towards the end of the show.
Thanks

Ugh, well, I don't think I'm going to be well enough - I feel pretty rough now.  Someone say "Hi" to Mario for me.

:scowl:

<edit>Well, it's only 30 minutes on the bus... If I'm not sneezing and coughing too badly, I'll be there</edit>

Okay, so the promised 30 minutes on the bus was 1 hour 20 on the way back... ::) And that's with the driver taking an alternative route without telling any of the passengers.  Y'have to love public transport...

Anyway!  It was worth it.  Having now seen both the TK and DK kits (and various other e-kits) up close, I know (a) I don't want a drumKat - it's too small for me to feel comfortable on; (b) I don't want a "full size" kit - they take up more space and I didn't really see there was much advantage without spending an inordinate amount of money; (c) the trapKat was just right. :)  I liked the response of the surface more than the Hart kit (it just needs to be more colourful ;) ).

Pedals... well, I was starting to get used to the feel of the HatKAT pedal - they're adjustable, aren't they?  The FatKAT response curve was not quite to my taste, either, but there are several places in the signal path I know I could adjust that.  The feel of the pedal was fine, though.

(And the Pentium 2 running Cubase and DFHS was doing a remarkably good job considering..!  Admittedly, if I hadn't been playing with MIDI since my 486 days, I might not have understood what the glitching was about, so you guys do have my sympathy!)

<edit>
Oh -- Simon from eDrum - sorry for not actually saying "Hello" properly if that was you.  I'm still a bit under the weather, is my only excuse :(.
