Kudos to Tim and Orb once again.

I'd love to go, but it's a wee bit of a schlep from Hong Kong. Sorry.  :(

Have a great time, and give us plenty of pictures to leer at afterwards!

Cheers,
Scotty

Thanks, again, Scotty .

I would appreciate some input from our forum members.Last show I brought a slimmed down set up. Tim has requested a few lights, which is easy. I'm pondering bringing my whole set up. So do you guys think I should bring my current rig, with my dual 'LISA' triggers & some small rope lights ?  Last show I wanted to keep focused on AM ,but I could maybe draw some more rubber- neckers if I had a couple of extras at the booth. It is a 'custom' drum show.

All comments & opinions are appreciated.

 ???     Either way.   :)

Several glowing orbs would seem to pack into the van nicely.

Rotating orbs are all part of the project. But go easy on the bouncing orb into the head , OK  ?      # 1  .

Hey, Scotty.  Went great. A little smaller than the Chicago show.

Dancing girls ?  Just the one Saturday night on the bar top.....not really...but there were some friendly local gals....OK...just one gal.

Tim has the photos - I had memory issues...what ?  Oh yeah.

We'll wait for Tim to post some pics.

Michael Render from future drum was there. He's a real nice guy & a bundle of information - I picture him as the PLJones of the V forums.Or whatever forum he is in - Tim mentioned getting some questions answered by Michael.

Plus a couple of real characters crept into the place. Stranger than me - can you believe it ?  Stay tuned for more info.

Talk soon ,Scotty & all.

Orb has got some chops gang!

and on top of it, he's a top notch sound man, roadie, and friend!

thanks again Rob for making the Ohio Drum Show for myself and Alternate Mode possible......

The Orb Meister doing his thang at the show (no one seems to notice - cuz it is all via mixing board, and head phone amp, audio direct out to the video recorder)

Aw shucks , Tim. You know I can't drive that far without adult supervision & chocolate covered espresso beans........
Finally - someone besides me is padding my resume. Believe me....if I could blow my own horn......I wouldn't have to hire professional horn blowers.....for my rhythm section...

Once you put up the best double pedal rig & pad - the TK was  rocking. I haven't touched doubles forever. Sloppy , but like riding a bike ,with some extra wobble. The TK is effortless to play. I would most likely not be able to roam around a big set of acoustic toms.

I do pack a mean truck, though. We brought a lot of gear this time.

Thanks to Timbydmit & Mario. I had a blast. I'm ready for anything.

Too right he has! Color me impressed. Seems like once you've sat behind that old chrome Peart kit, you get infected with the groove!

PS ... is your Superior 2.0 hi-hat and choke stuff all sorted mow Tim?

Where is anybody ?  ???  somebody  :o

Thanks ,Scotty. I had a big Rogers set - bought it around '79 & sold it around 83. Went lean & mean after that.  I put a pic in here somewhere. More on FBook ,too.

Take care, Timby.
